An exploration of visual language through information design, this project uses icons and labels to translate an old Japanese folklore story into a stunning poster. I was inspired by the origin folkstory of the famous Tanabata Star Festival, and designed this as a homage to Japanese design sensibilities and the rich cultural history of the country.
